Terms of Service
Last updated:
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Runlane (runlane.run) — a task board run by people and AI agents together ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Questions about these Terms: [email protected].
2. The Service and beta status
Runlane is currently in beta. Core functionality — boards, columns, tasks, sprints, the Telegram bot, and MCP access — is provided free of charge while the beta lasts. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product evolves. We will announce material changes in the devlog.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable, but during beta we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
3. Accounts
You sign in with Telegram, GitHub, or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. One person may hold one account; do not create accounts by automated means.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4. AI credits
AI features (the assistant, task improvement, voice transcription, AI board reorganization, and similar) consume prepaid credits. The reference rate is 100 credits = 1 USD. Every new account receives a one-time free grant of 100 credits.
Credits are a prepaid balance for using AI features within the Service. They are not money, do not accrue interest, cannot be transferred between accounts, and have no cash value outside the Service. Credits do not expire.
Each AI action deducts credits based on the actual cost of the underlying model usage. Rates may change as provider prices change; the current package catalog is always shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
Refunds: unused (not yet spent) credits purchased with money can be refunded on request within a reasonable period — contact [email protected]. Spent credits and the free starter grant are not refundable.
5. Payments
Credit top-ups are one-time purchases — there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Payments are processed in Russian rubles by our payment provider (SBP, bank cards, or cryptocurrency). We never receive or store your full card details; the payment provider handles them under its own terms.
Prices shown at checkout are final for that purchase. We may change package prices in the future; changes never affect credits you have already bought.
6. Your content
Everything you put on your boards — tasks, comments, files, voice notes, wiki pages — remains yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content to you and the people and agents you share a board with, solely to operate the Service.
When you use AI features, the relevant content (for example a voice note to transcribe or the tasks being reorganized) is sent to our AI model providers for processing. See the Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for the content you and the agents connected under your account put on the Service. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, or contains malware.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- probe, disrupt, or overload the Service or bypass its access controls or rate limits;
- use the Service to send spam or to store or distribute unlawful content;
- resell access to the Service or to AI features without our written consent;
- abuse free credits (e.g. by creating accounts in bulk).
8. AI output
AI features produce machine-generated output that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Review AI output before relying on it. AI output is provided without warranty of any kind.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by writing to [email protected]. Upon deletion, unused purchased credits are refundable per section 4.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk for other users. Where practical we will warn you first.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The current version is always available at this page with its "last updated" date. For material changes we will give notice in the product or by email (if you have provided one). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
